10 other owners receive the keys to the Palm Condominium

Kota Kinabalu: The developer of The Palm Condominium, WSG Group, recently handed over 10 more keys to respective buyers from here, Sipitang, Labuan and Iraq, among others. Its general manager Datuk Susan Wong said they all expressed satisfaction with the spacious layout of the condominium units and the convenience of having many amenities nearby. Lau, 78, and his wife Chong Nyuk Choon said Susan’s credibility as a property developer and her expertise were the main factors that contributed to her purchase of the condo.

Lau, from Keningau, said he often passes through Kinarut on his trip to the state capital for business purposes. “I purchased land shortly after the Palm Square groundbreaking ceremony because I have confidence in the quality of properties developed by WSG Group,” he said. When the company launched The Palm Condominium, he immediately purchased a unit without hesitation due to the comprehensive facilities provided. Lau said he has no qualms buying properties developed by Susan because Susan is a perfectionist and often personally handles issues raised by clients. Another buyer, Ridwan Mokhtar, 39, previously worked as a mechanical engineer at Petronas in Sembulan before being transferred to Iraq. He returns to Kota Kinabalu every month. In 2014, he bought a two-storey terraced house in Rose Garden, also developed by the WSG group. After learning that the company was building The Palm Condominium, he immediately purchased two units to rent as short-term housing. “The condo location is very strategic and close to the airport which is convenient for me as I fly all the time. “Another reason why I bought the condominium is the comfortable living environment and the facilities such as the swimming pool and the gymnasium.”

Meanwhile, 36-year-old Mohd Kasmin Kasim said he liked the condo’s surroundings and facilities, not to mention the variety of shops and supermarkets within walking distance. As for Cham Sieu Cuen, 32, who is a nurse at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), said she had purchased a unit in the condominium to make it easier for her to visit her parents in Beaufort each week. “I looked everywhere for a house before finally choosing The Palm Condominium. “The condominium provides residents with the convenience of having amenities nearby, such as KFC, 24-hour convenience stores, supermarkets, a clinic, and a coffee shop. “My dad is keen to stay here and enjoy the view for a few months,” she said, adding that the condo was her first home. Rozalia Marubin, 32, a nurse at Sabah Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Likas, said she bought a unit because she wanted to live closer to her parents in Beaufort and the airport. Yuzneeza Yazid, 37, from Negeri Sembilan, was transferred to Sabah in 2009, where she served in QEH before being posted as a doctor at Kota Kinabalu Women’s Prison. She had searched many places for the perfect home before deciding to purchase The Palm Condominium due to its extensive facilities, spacious unit, reasonable price, and proximity to the airport and mosque. Irwan Ishas, ​​39, said he was drawn to the condominium’s sea view and its proximity to the airport. More importantly, he said WSG Group always provides excellent service to its buyers.
